Awakening you to the Archetypal Movement during the week ahead. The purpose of this blog is to make you aware of the energy available astrologically, for the purpose of spiritual and personal development.

Introduction

On July 27th, 2018 we will be experiencing a Lunar Eclipse Full Moon at 4 degrees Aquarius, while the Sun is at 4 degrees in Leo. In this article, we will discuss what these astrological aspects could mean and how we can begin to prepare for this energy now. This Lunar Eclipse will be hitting on some earlier themes and intentions made during past moon cycles. We will have the energetic sun in the energetic fire sign of Leo opposed the airy, unpredictable, and emotional Aquarius full moon. When the sun is opposed to the moon is likening to a flashlight shining brightly on our hidden unconscious motivations and desires. Even Though there is much hoopla surrounding a full moon and its positive effects, my personal opinion is that is an aesthetic and naive point of view of full moons. Ultimately Full Moon’s highlight the things we must clear to continue to move forward with higher ideals and perceptions. A Lunar Eclipse is a full moon is when the earth is situated in between the Moon and the Sun casting a shadow on the moon. Symbolically this provides action, insight, and breakthroughs. Throughout history, the Lunar Eclipse marked critical turning points in human evolution. So if a Solar Eclipse means setting intentions, a Lunar Eclipse means reaping the rewards of previous intentions. So if we have been sowing stress unconsciously this Full Moon could manifest more stress. Since this Lunar Eclipse is a personal astrological phenomenon its important that we take personal responsibility. Ultimately we will explain in this article how we can redefine ourselves and our motivations. We will learn the consequences of immediate gratification and also the rewards of constantly building energy and positive affirmations. Whether you do this consciously or unconsciously it is best to be mindful of what intentions you are sowing regardless of circumstance. We are simply living a result of a previous intention.

Moon conjunct Mars & South Node in Aquarius

opposed

Sun conjunct North Node in Leo

This energy is very erratic and unpredictable. If this disturbs you or frightens you be mindful to step in front of the problems or fears in your life. Hoping that your skeletons don’t come out of the closet may not be enough during this transit. There may be some emotional patterns that need to be broke with Mars’ energy and the South Nodes connection to past lives to break generational curses once and for all. Since  Uranus rules Aquarius, the added flavor of a Square to Uranus doubles down on excitable energy that needs to be processed and experienced to be fully understood. This is an overall feeling of keeping the grass cut so the snakes will show. This is an active, preventive, protective, planning energy otherwise known as foresight. See problems before they happen and do something about it. Spirit is trying to release you from bondage but you do not see it nor are you prepared to be released.

Full Moon T-Square with Uranus in Taurus

The Moon and Sun will both form 90 degree angles to Uranus simultaneously creating a T-square, this brings challenges and obstacles to overcome. Your eagerness to attack these problems as opposed to falling back into a deeper isolation will really be key during this powerful transit we will be experiencing. Our ideals will be severely challenged by competition from the actual reality and what will you do about it. If you have been positively sowing seeds then people will wonder where all of this good fortune has come from and that can be our little secret. There will also be people going through a variety of issues and adversities, it may be up to you to offer help to those who truly need the help. This may just be a part of the journey to creating a vibration of universal love and selflessness. Ultimately this energy speaks to a test and what any test, your grade matters.

Sun Trine Chiron in Aries | Sun Square Jupiter | Sun inconjunct Saturn

The Sun in Leo is an energetic force, meaning that it only matters when applied to physical pursuits. An abundance of energy with no modality to release it doesn’t really matter. So understanding our actions with aligned motivations creates an indirect channel for healing due to the trine with Chiron in Aries. A square to Jupiter says that in order for this healing to take place there has to be some clearing of past trauma. This is an ultimate test in perception, do you perceive doom and gloom or perceive your spiritual birthright. Ultimately we have to understand that our individual purpose is important, so what steps and realizations are going to take to realize it.

Saturn in Capricorn trine Uranus in Taurus

This aspect speaks to the changes that are happening that ultimately needs to happen, the more you fight the energy of change, the more of the lesson is not understood. Ultimately the changes that occur are representations of the freedom you are now experiencing. Being attached to an ideal or the past will block you from the freedom you now are experiencing. Will you block this energy by doing the same things over and over again is totally up to you.

Jupiter in Scorpio trine Neptune in Pisces

How we can begin or continue to heal:

Journaling

Dream Journal

Keeping track of visions and intuition

Keeping track of coincidences

The things that are happening are trying to tell a deeper story at all times. The story of who you truly are and are you able to listen to the messages and incorporate them into your waking life. This is a spiritual time.

Neptune in Pisces square Venus in Virgo

Understanding the difference between universal love as opposed to personal existential love. Universal love is active, existential love is passive. Love is to be given. Because your love is inside of you how do you display it?

Tarot Card of the Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius | 5 of Swords & 5 of Wands

Orisha of the Week

Oya y Shango

Many eons ago, Shango was involved in an endless war. He had fought for many days and killed many of his enemies, but this time there were more than he could kill. At once he was surrounded.

He searched for his horse, Enchile, but he was nowhere to be found. His enemies approached closer. He had hidden enough to escape to Oya’s cabin in the middle of the woods.

When she saw Shango she was startled, “What happened to you?” she exclaimed

Shango began to tell Oya what happened to him. He needed Oya’s help. Oya thought for a second and told Shango. “When night falls, you will put on one of my dresses, and you will escape. I’m going to cut my hair to save my kings life.”

When nightfall came and they executed the plan perfectly to escape. Shango was not afraid of his enemies, he did not lack courage, he was simply overworked and needed some help and rest.

With proper rest, Shango came back fired up ready to defeat his enemies. The interesting thing he never took Oya’s hair and Oya’s hair remained cut. The declaration was that whenever Oya helps Shango there is a victory.

What is being shown in this Pataki is that when you align your masculine and feminine energy you are ultimately invincible. The other lesson is that even though you may have done a lot on your own, you can not do everything on your own.

I hope this message resonated with you.

Peace

Full Moon in Capricorn | June 28th, 2018 | Lazurus Rising

Awakening you to the Archetypal Movement during the week ahead. The purpose of this blog is to make you aware of the energy available astrologically, for the purpose of spiritual and personal development.

map

On June 28th, 2018, we will have a Full Moon at 6° Capricorn, a full moon occurs when the Sun is Opposite the Moon. This Full Moon wants to know if you care about your self or a made up concept you choose to believe. You may want to accomplish a lot but the question that may come up during this Full Moon is ‘why’. This moon is a great time to come into tune with what you truly want and gives you enough energy to get things done. Doing the inner psychological work is actually the pathway to true wealth and success regardless of how you feel, having a real goal is a solution. If you are not focused on who you are as an individual you may be concerned with your social group’s politics and get caught up in things that have nothing to do with you internally from a soul level. Understanding your personal causes is a psychological pursuit, mindlessly doing the things you have been doing without examination will come into focus during this Full Moon. When it comes to plans, we can plan a flawless wedding or a flawless crime, perception of good/bad is completely up to the individual. In a way it reminds me of the movie Purge but more of a personal allegiance type of way. Are you pledging allegiance to your group or your soul?

The Full Moon will be in Capricorn where it will need to be emotionally centered. If not centered the first sign of adversity or one simple success may trigger an overreaction and ruin overall progress. The Full Moon in Capricorn is full of false alarms and missed opportunities based on stagnancy and procrastination. This isn’t a chill out Moon, this moon means business, personally or collectively. When making a proclamation or a declaration the energy of the Moon and Capricorn will give you enough energy to bring it into manifest. Positive emotion can be used for negative things as well so make sure people aren’t plotting on you. I wouldn’t be in situations or deal with people I’m not emotionally aligned with. Avoid all pressure, follow your emotions. Realizing your obstacles is perfect for overcoming them, blind confidence can get you in trouble. Realize the problem before seeking the solution. The solution has to be found within yourself in other words. People with common goals should be your friends and family now. Ultimately following people who don’t share your goals and dreams will drain a lot of your energy during this Full Moon.

This Full Moon speaks to being swept up in a frenzy based on powerful oration of ideals. This is wonderful if you share these ideals. It’s even more wonderful if you live and speak your own personal ideals, not from the ego but from the Soul. At this point, it is okay to be the Black Sheep. The world is changing and you will not be the ‘black sheep’ for long. It is important that you understand that your energy is from the spirit/soul not from any existential force. The more you realize this the more you no longer have to prove yourself to others, you simply just need to know and love yourself.

The Tarot Card associated with this Full Moon in Capricorn is the 2 of Disks(Pentacles or Coins). Which speaks to a change in our environment and a need to be balanced during all transformations. Understand that energy cannot be eliminated it can only be transformed and reused. It’s important to understand the cyclical nature of the world and be ready for our opportunity like we are playing a game of ‘life’ double dutch. Harmonious change is what is needed. In order to give one must give a little. Its a process.

This Full Moon in Capricorn gives a chance to take control of your existence but it will not be easy. Are you ready to fight an enemy that doesn’t exist or are you ready to live your best life? This world and its energies are purely subjective, understanding what is best for you is paramount. What if your collective was actually a negative force would you still align with them based on familiarity or strike out on your own path?  Understanding that your spiritual family may not be your natural family how will you navigate these trails when identifying who you are and your personal tribe.

The Orisha of the Week

Babalu – Aye

There is one Orisha that is loved, respected, and feared all the same and his name is Babalu Aye. The name means “Father of the World” he is a major key to understanding humanity as a whole. Babalu Aye was once shunned by society due to illness and poverty. Understanding that his troubles and afflictions were not of the higher self, he had to switch his understanding from normal to divine consciousness to be given back his health and prosperity. Understanding that he had to balance his life and behaviors he got everything back and more. Balance and good character are what we need to be successful through discipline and understanding the divine within, nothing can hold us back.

img-Saint-Lazarus-the-Beggar

“When man fails to recognize God as the one Helper and the one support of his life, spiritual understanding becomes weak in him and he sinks into materiality. To all intents, he is dead to the truth of his own being.”

“The weak spot in human consciousness is the belief in the reality of matter and material possessions.”

Babalu – Aye has a counterpart in Christian mythology by the name of Lazarus. Lazarus metaphysically represents the part of our consciousness that is helped by the Divine personality but is often rejected and left by the human. We have an outer consciousness of the physical reality and we also have an inner consciousness of the divine reality. Most of us are only aware of our physical reality while our divine reality means nothing to us. Lazarus is the consciousness within us that has died, it is shown as sick and impoverished. It’s important for us to revive that part of our consciousness and divinity with our mind and our ability to focus on our inner light and radiate from this place. As long as things are going well for you, you may not realize or recognize the divine and yo may be completely concerned with the physical reality and this trapped by it. The rising of Lazurus and Bablu-Aye is the rising of the consciousness of the Soul which is taking place right now.

Pluto Explained || Esoteric Astrology

Pluto

Lecture Outline

Omnipotent, Alchemical Force.  The most intense.

Cerebrus = Nature, Cause, Accident.

If life is a living Hell you can call on Pluto for help.

But Pluto is not a magic Pill.

It points out your vices, addictions, and our own undoing.

He can show us how to transform our base ideas and perceptions to higher spiritual concepts.

Who is Pluto

The God of the Underworld.

Like the Land.

A seed is Pluto and as it fights through the dirt.

It eventually has to burst out of the ground into the heavens.

So Pluto is pointing out the things that are holding you back that are not obvious.

Like a Flower that germinates its seed and repeats the process all over again.

It’s a Natural Process of Life and Rebirth.

LORD OF FATE, DEATH AND REBIRTH

If the Acorn is the be an Oak Tree it has to trust its innermost and dive deep in the soil to be reborn again.  It doesn’t feel that its Acorn life is supreme there must be more to the story.

Pluto is Greek for Riches. Hades god of the Underworld and profound transformation.

The Sower of the Celestial Seed.

Pluto in your Chart

Pluto in your chart shows what you need to sacrifice for your Soul Growth.

My Pluto is in Libra. 1st House. (Toxic Relationships)

So my transformation comes in the form of Relationships.

Being a Leader based on my perceptions.

Trusting my Journey because it is leading me somewhere.

It shows how we bond with people and how we share resources, material and immaterial.

1971 – 1984 Pluto was in Libra = Growing up with problems in the home.  Divorce. Single Parent Household. Where is Daddy?

1984 – 1995 Pluto was in Scorpio = Crack and Violence Epidemic, Aids, Teen Pregnancy

1995 – 2008 Puto was in Sagittarius = The Great Awakening, Alerting Souls to their path, A set up for Fate, Barack Obama

2008 – 2023 Pluto will be in Capricorn = Theories and ideals are brought down to earth and put into practice, and anything that doesn’t work is thrown out – no matter how noble.

How does Pluto Show up?

Power, Sex, Death and the Afterlife, Transformation + Reinvention + Regeneration, Wealth, Unconsciousness

Pluto – Root Chakra

The first Chakra is co-ruled by Pluto and Saturn (The Lord of Fate)

The Root Chakra is where you connect to the Earth. (Pluto is the God of the Underworld)

Survival, Grounding, and Connecting you (your Soul) to your Body.

The Root Chakra like the Foundation to a House is necessary for all other subsequent Chakras to operate fully.

The Root Chakra = Home of your Spiritual Essence.

Trust and Safety issues our resources (material and immaterial), Talents, Gifts and Abilities, and how we are handling this in our life.

Balance to this Chakras brings alignment into your life.

Unbalance to this Chakra causes confusion.

Root Chakra nurturing yourself, healthy boundaries, being comfortable.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is one of the main blocks to the Root Chakra.

Among the diagnostic criteria for PTSD are that an individual physically feels the toll of the traumatic events.

For PTSD sufferers, the trauma intrudes on visual, auditory, and somatic reality

“Individuals with PTSD suffer inundation of images, sensations, and behavioral impulses disconnected from context, concepts and understanding.”

re-experiencing the event or having flashbacks, avoiding reminders of the trauma, chronic hyperarousal in the autonomic nervous system, or essentially being stuck in the fight or flight mode of survival, leading to a high startle response or “jumpiness.”

Pluto Wounding | Why?

Violence, Abuse, and Terror.

Something that has left behind a psychological scar.

Damage, Demeaning Put Downs, Humiliation.  Feelings of being tormented.

Pluto makes you feel like you are nothing. Why?

Feelings of hate, revulsion, disgust, and loathing.

Pluto is the Black Sheep. Being ridiculed and made to feel small and helpless.

The feelings deeply felt. (The feelings you don’t show on the surface)

Low points. Depression. Scary situations you are not emotionally prepared for. (Parenthood, Tragedy)

Pluto is where the Volcano is in your Chart.  It can lay dormant for long periods. Then all of a sudden. Hate and Vitriol is ever present.

Since we never dealt with it we develop destructive habits to suppress the dormant rage.

Dealing with Pluto is the feeling of spiraling downwards to the deepest of lows following a Long and Powerful journey back to the surface.

Pluto is the Polarity to Earth. Earth is the physical Body. There is no “earth” in astrology. It is only you.

So Pluto relates to the spiritual aspects of life, it can alter and challenge you, but it can never destroy you. It has to show you this in order for you to Evolve.

The Love for your Spiritual Awareness supersedes your Earthly relationship, the fact that you have to sacrifice that is painful.

Birth and Rebirth are painful processes. The pain of birth. The pain of death.

Leaving a comfortable containment for the unknown is needed for evolution.

Pluto is the tool for tapping into Spiritual Will.

Pluto God of Wealth, King of the Dead, wears the Helmet of Invincibility.  He is fair, doesn’t pity, impossible to stop.

Pluto is influential but in order to understand its influence you have to come to a personal realization on how Pluto shows up in your life.  It is not a scapegoat.

In order to transform the body it must first be inserted in your mind first and Pluto is the Seed.

New Moon in Gemini | June 13th, 2018 | An Eruption of Wealth | Esoteric Astrology Forcast

astrology

New Moon in Gemini

On June 13th, 2018 there will be a New Moon in the constellation of Gemini at 22°. The 22nd Degree mark of Gemini speaks to understanding blocks in your personal life. These blocks may be from people or situations that are extremely close to home, now that you are seeing these blocks are you willing to make the necessary changes or simply feel down because you notice them.  There are areas in our life where we may have been ignorant and now are being highlighted to be addressed. It’s important to fight against injustices as opposed to finding comfort in an imaginary neutrality that truly does not exist. This New Moon cycle will no doubt usher in changes in the collective and the individual so it is best to understand these changes.

This New Moon is when the Sun and Moon are conjunct every 28 days or so. This New Moon happens in the third decan of the sign of Gemini. The third decan of Gemini is ruled by Uranus, so having a New Moon there it would be best to focus on the changes that need to be made in your life. This is not a time to get attached to things or to search for comforts. Ultimately there comes a time when we have to address things in our lives, a New Moon in Gemini is a perfect time for that. Stay in tune to your core and really focus on the things that you want and need to do.  There may be some obstacles or roadblocks to attaining what you desire, these are the things that will come up during this New Moon in Gemini, in order for you to change it.

Working with this New Moon provides the individual with insight into the things that one has to change to become what he truly desires. The downside to this work is that it will show you exactly what you need to change, it won’t actually do the work for you, that is the individual’s job. But understanding what is happening astrologically can explain why these things are unfolding the way that they are.

Mars in Aquarius conjunct South Node | Karmic Break

The New Moon in Gemini will feature Mars conjunct South Node in Aquarius. The South Node represents the Karmic past life or past experiences of the collective. Having Mars conjunct the South Node places action towards the shifts that need to happen to bring some clarity to our present Karma and unify our Nodes to get a clear vision of our future. Mars in Aquarius is very intense and is wanting some form of independence for the cause of truth. This is a no-compromise zone for your internal desires. It wants what it wants. This is a perfect time for innovation and overall liberation. Mars in Aquarius wants you to break from all limits from now and until November 2018 when it enters Pisces and it gets an upgrade to Spiritual Warrior. Don’t take No for an answer when it comes to your Soul’s Urge.

New Moon in Gemini inconjunct Pluto in Capricorn

This placement speaks to understanding transformation. The transformation we speak of is also in scale depending on the individual. This could be in the form of bad habits, this could be relationships, jobs/career, or place of residence. There needs to be a change in one or more of these areas for you to grow to the level that you are destined to grow. Pluto is your hidden wealth, the god of the underworld, Hades. An inconjunction ultimately means a misunderstanding. The New Moon in Gemini as we stated earlier refers to understanding blocks in your personal life. So putting this together, we are trying to understand our personal blocks to our greater wealth. This may show up as a mini-crisis internally or as an external event. It’s important to address it as opposed to finding comfort in a false neutrality. Bruised Egos and conflict may be highlighted during this New Moon.

Understanding Pluto in Capricorn

Pluto in Capricorn represents an ascension to understanding. A symbol of Pluto in Capricorn would be a volcano. Ultimately handling the change that comes with spiritual realization. This energy thus causes revolutions and sweeping changes. Whether it was the ushering of the Holy Roman Empire in the 8th Century by Charlemagne, The spread of the Vikings in the 11th century, and the last time Pluto was in Capricorn we were ushering the Colonial era from 1762 -1778. Pluto in Capricorn represents a time of action, if you have higher ideals one cannot ignore those ideals forever if one has not lived towards those ideals than Pluto is there to redirect you back towards those initial ideals. It is time to change direction and lead yourself towards your soul. Pluto in Capricorn speaks to major adjustments or be in danger of extinction. So like a volcano that wiped out civilizations but also provided a fertile land to begin a new civilization, it’s important to realize that this is a natural part of life.

Neptune in Pisces trine Jupiter in Scorpio

During this New Moon, we are still experiencing the effects of Neptune trine Jupiter aspect. The New Moon squares Neptune in Pisces. While Neptune in Pisces is favorable, understanding the dark side of our spiritual nature may be tough for some of us. The dualistic nature of our impulses and motives if not checked may cause us to believe things that are too good to be true. The New Moon will be inconjunct Jupiter in Scorpio, which is pushing us to understand the deeper things that really have to be transformed (Pluto rules Scorpio), for our greatest expansion. Jupiter and Neptune are trine so this is providing assistance with information to help you through this examining time. So essentially, knowledge is power when it comes to what may be happening to you internally and even externally. My advice would be to speak up and say things that you are going through because you may not know who identifies in your struggle and/or could possibly give you resources or help to get you through whatever you are experiencing.

New Moon Summary and What it Means

Even though this is a personal time in astrology the changes you make in your personal life will have reverberating effects through the collective. The reality is that we all can make a difference. Its overall based on your mood, your modd will set the tone. It’s important if you don’t understand the power of your mood to do some research. This is a moon more tailored to personal success over relationships. With the influence of the Mars and South Node, there will be some Karmic breaks because Mars is really striving towards independence. Generally, relationships and energy during this time is fated and comes full of lessons, don’t let your heart or head get ahead of your good sense. Stay focused on the work that you need to do, I imagine a lot of things will show up in the form of void fillers, and void fillers are temporary at best, it is better to do the longterm inner work that will set you up for lifetime worth of healing.

Orisha of the Week — Aganjú

In honoring of the Orishas we want to bring up a Deity of great antiquity Aganju representing the land/earth and the Creator of civilization. The word Aganju means desert, probably speaking to the fact that this Deity is not used much anymore. He is identified as Shango’s older brother or even father. As ancient and powerful as Shango is the energy of Aganju is more ancient and more powerful. Aganjú is associated with volcanoes, the foundation of societies that are built and is the catalyst for all civilization. He is known for assisting humans in overcoming great physical and psychological barriers. Aganju is known for his legendary strength and his ability to bring about drastic change. In Cuba, he is known to have delivered many people out of bondage and is known to carry the heaviest of burdens. As the Lord of Caves, he owns all mineral wealth and can be appealed to with some. Ultimately Aganju is the bearer of burdens, the defender of the helpless, downtrodden and enslaved. Aganju is a major symbol of African resistance and can be used now if you feel persecuted against or marginalized. Aganju is depicted as a rough giant that has no rhythm when dancing, when in fact he is one of the most docile, humble and generous Orisha.

Tubal Cain

Tubal Cain has been considered among Masons as a symbol of worldly possessions. “The Mason must follow in the footsteps of his forefather, Tubal-Cain, who with the mighty strength of the war god hammered his sword into a plowshare.” This is basically saying that ones central thought should be on how to enlarge his reach and expand to others as opposed to simply thinking about yourself. Tubal Cain was the inventor of forging metals and making weapons and tools, this allowed humanity to expand from small tribal villages to large civilizations. Tubal which metaphysically means leading, conducting, bringing forth. Cain metaphysically means smith or expert. Together they meant worldly possessions, mineral principle, and physical power.  Tubal Cain and Aganju are essentially the same root, primal. ancient energy that is now awakening on the planet and available for anyone that chooses to access it.
