777 Chakra Workshop — The Third Eye Chakra

The Ajna Chakra or better known as the Third Eye Chakra is sixth of the seven primary Chakras in Hindu Tantric thought.  Translated in Sanskrit as “command”.

In doing this chakra work we are establishing (Muladhara) and sustaining this emotional current or some would say this kundalini energy that is working up through our spine, opening up each chakra one by one.  This current or energy is sustained and focused on until we reach the point of the third eye or Ajna Chakra opening.  This opening only can occur when we drop the ego or the ‘I’, and you accept the space within as sacred space.  Only when we uncover who God is, within us, and also separate from us do we really accomplish the goal of opening the Third Eye.  Once you are fully awakened to self, one is opened up to the peace and wisdom beyond the conscious minds understanding.  After reaching this state of gnosis, it is impossible to revert to unconscious and unenlightened ways of previous existence.  We utilize a deeper access to the wisdom and understanding of our existence presently.

The Ajna Chakra activation is a wedding between the soul and the self.  It is a point of complete consciousness or being completely aware of the realization of your soul.  One can not continue on the path of unconsciousness, blaming, and pointing of fingers.  The Kundalini energy that was asleep in the root chakra is completely awoken and the realization that you are pure psychic energy is the reality you now live with.  When we speak of the psychic reality we are speaking to the human soul as opposed to the natural, animalistic, unconscious life.  The soul or God within is simply a word for the non-me.  In the Vishuddha chakra, we were simply bridging the gap between psychic reality and physical reality.

In the Ajna Chakra we become it, we ‘command it’.  In the Ajna Chakra the psyche grows wings, and from this point, you realize that you are nothing but the soul.  It is the point when the subject(you) and the object (Soul) becomes one.  The subject is the physical you that can be touched, the object is the soul or the idea of you, the consciousness that is you.  When you merge with this consciousness and completely submerge yourself into this union, then you will open the Third Eye Chakra.   From this point, you will have the power to merge and harmonize the different energies that exist within you into one powerful energy that is you and transcend all previous paradigms of confusion.

The Ajna translates to “command” or “perceive”, meaning you have the power to perceive life however you choose to.  You have to rid yourself of the old ideas to access this power, simply because your hands are full of old baggage, and your hands must be freed to grasp ahold of this new idea within you.  Its said meditation on the Ajna Chakra grants peace, occult powers, the ability to leave your body at once, to enter other bodies, to become omniscient.   To be connected to the source is a responsibility within itself, so understanding that you must purify yourself through doing the righteous work.  To even understand this chakra fully one must understand the journey of kundalini, and from this vantage point, you will see why this work is necessary.

777 Chakra Workshop — The Vishuddha Chakra (Throat Chakra)

The Vishuddha Chakra or better known as the Throat Chakra is fifth of the seven primary Chakras in Hindu Tantric thought.  Translated in Sanskrit as “especially pure”, meaning you and God are indivisible.

In the Anahata Chakra we recognized the God within, in the Vishuddha Chakra the God within recognizes us.  The contemplation is abstract and the results are a matter of fact.  A place where creativity and the self are expressed in truth.  A place where our negative experiences and feelings are transformed into lessons learned and wisdom gained.  A balanced Vishuddha Chakra is what one would call success in life, an inactive Chakra is what one would call failure.  Guilt and Shame are the main contributors to the closing of this chakra.  One must rise above the Ego’s limitations to reach the point of access to the Akashic Records.  To receive the messages from the higher self one must put themselves in the position to listen.  Aligning yourself with the 5th chakra is aligning you with the etheric realms. which is aligning you with the mind of God.  To reach this alignment one must detach from their personal experiences.   Thus far on this journey of the Chakras, you have been contemplating on the God in You, in the Vishuddha Chakra, the God in you contemplates you.  Like sandpaper, the journey of the Chakras can be a little coarse at the beginning but as you ascend to the Throat Chakra the material becomes very fine.  In the Vishuddha Chakra, your energy you put forth is more powerful than the energy already present in the universe.  No one is against you and if there is, it is you.  Translating the abstract and saying the right thing at the right time is a result of a balanced Throat Chakra.  The abstract or ethereal realm is not unknown, it is simply beyond reason.  When one ascends into the Vishuddha Chakra one is attuned to the higher realms of knowledge.  Information goes from abstract to known in the Vishuddha Chakra.  The element of the Vishuddha Chakra is Ether or the Quintessence, this controls the areas above terrestrial life, literally the air the Gods breathe.  In this position, you think like a God.  This energy has no particular form, so in this world, it shows up as abstract.  The Vishuddha chakra is living with the knowledge of that fact.  The Throat Chakra is your voice, your voice is the base of all your projections.  What you say or don’t say is the difference between success and failure.  A balanced Vishuddha Chakra gives us the ability to say the right thing at the right time and also how to listen attentively.  Although it is located in the throat, this chakra controls one’s ability to hear.  You may need to hear that crucial detail that puts you over the top if one is preoccupied with self-talk, one won’t be able to access its intuition.  Intuition has a lot to do with the Vishuddha Chakra and spirituality in general, the ability to listen and hear the God within.  You are always in control of your voice, meaning you are always connected to the source, the trouble is in realizing this connection.  Opening and balancing the Vishuddha Chakra gives you power over your voice.  In the Vishuddha Chakra, your psychic nature is evident, your reality is a mirror to your inner world.  No longer can one say “He is a jerk”, one has to say “Why am I creating this jerk”, and make the necessary adjustment.  Life is what you say it is.  Listening to our inner voice without hesitation or distraction will lead us to our best results, this is abstract.  You realize that intuition is life just as much as your habitual terrestrial nature.  Our source is the inner Ethereal and auric energies.  From this point we find our true purpose in life.

777 Chakra Workshop — Anahata Chakra (Heart Chakra)

The Anahata Chakra or better known as the Heart Chakra is fourth of the seven primary Chakras in Hindu Tantric thought.  Anahata is translated from Ancient Sanskrit to mean “unstruck” or in other words unhurt, untouched.  Simply meaning pure.

How does one reach this level of purity?  Most of us never reach the fourth chakra because its consciousness relies on letting go of the desires and emotions that plague the ego.  Rising from the Manipura Chakra to the Anahata Chakra is seen as difficult because we have to recognize our soul.  At the same time, we have to realize that our desires and emotions are not of the soul.  This truth is amazingly hard to recognize and admit.   Most people don’t make this leap because they would rather deal with desires and emotions.  Once you reach the Anahata Chakra you are making the effort to having an impersonal experience, not concerned with involving personal feelings or influences.  Since most people never reach this level it is a hard subject to talk about.

The lower three chakras consolidated comprise of your earthly existence and understanding your unconscious drives and fears.  Once you reach the Heart Chakra you are no longer identifying your emotions and desires.  Your earthly situation is released into the element of Air, which rules over the Heart Chakra.  This is the process of becoming whole again and recognizing your soul or the Self.  Nobody recognizes what the Soul is because the Soul is what you are not.  It is not the Me or I, it is the source of Me, I am just an appendage of the Soul.  The soul encapsulates you, it is more important than you.  Down to your very last breath when the Soul leaves your body and the body decomposes.  The key to unlocking your Hearth Chakra is to distance yourself from your emotions, observe them, and rise above them.  During anger, one can ask himself, why am I angry?  From this point-of-view, one can easily release himself from all emotions.  6ca957a3cfc062627fdfc22c4ba7463e--anahata-chakra-chakra-yoga

The Animal Symbol of the Anahata Chakra is the gazelle.  Gazelle an animal of the earth but when it runs it seems to be free from gravity.  A gazelle is known to be extremely fast and light on its feet.  So from this perspective, we can innerstand the symbol of the gazelle as it relates to the heart chakra.

When this Chakra is balanced we are filled with unconditional love for self and others.  We are filled with compassion, appreciation, and joy.  When this chakra is open the Higher Self is free to emerge and resonate with higher frequencies.  We fully understand the concept of Namaste, ” The God in me recognizes the God in you.”  Our emotions and desires are replaced with devotion.  We change from “I Need” to “I Love”

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them–yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

Corinthians 15:50

The Anahata Chakra represents a state of freshness that happens when we separate from our egos and experiences and begin to look at the world differently, through the soul.  We begin to expand from this pure state.  It’s important to separate from your Ego when opening the heart chakra, simply because the EGO and Soul don’t mix.  The Ego is not going to live forever, it has a limit, unlike the Soul which lives forever.  Inside of us this war wages silently and unconsciously.  One is never free until he understands the purpose of the inner world, if ones inner world is filled with desires and emotions, this world is limited.  If ones inner world is of that which is unlimited, one begins to reflect those miraculous worlds.  The 12 petals that surround the Anahata Chakra are symbolized as lustfulness, fraudulence, indecision, repentance, hope, anxiety, longing, impartiality, arrogance, incompetence, discrimination and defiance.  These petals represent the unconscious behaviors that unknowingly block the spin of one’s heart chakra.

The color of the Anahata Chakra is green really representing unconditional love.  This is the crux of the heart chakra, really identifying the love you are giving and letting go of the love you are looking for.  The love you are looking for is inside of you.  The color green is a reminder of that, abundance.  Imagine money, the trees, or grass.  Abundance and good vibrations. Focus on the color green to bring about soothing, calming, balance, love, and healing.

The element of the Anahata Chakra is Air, representing intelligence, expansion, freedom, freshness, simplicity, and calm.  Air also represents the breath, which is necessary for every single one of our cells to stay alive.  Breath is where all life begins and where all life ends.  By controlling the breath, you control life, from this perspective you understand the power of the Anahata Chakra.

777 Chakra Workshop — Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura Chakra)

The Manipura Chakra or better known as the Solar Plexus Chakra is third of the seven primary Chakras in Hindu Tantric thought.  It is translated as “the place of the pearl,” with mani meaning pearl or jewel, and pura meaning place or city.  I want us to first examine the concept of the pearl, in Christian lore and finally in the Gnostic scriptures.

45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, 46 and upon finding a single pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought it.

Matthew 13:45-46

So as we see in the Bible, the merchant has sold everything for this particular pearl.  This story is a metaphor for accessing the soul.  The merchant has sold all that he has, meaning that nothing else matters to him on earth, the only thing that matters is acquiring this pearl, and this is what we are called down here to do.  Raise kundalini, realize ourselves as Gods, and raising ourselves to our Godhead.  Not to raise up our illusion or our prison.  This information is hard to follow because most are not ready to give up what they own(who they are), for the discovery of their soul, which is not the person they have been raised to know.  So the concept of selling everything one owns to acquire a pearl is completely ridiculous to the average person.  The reason why this sounds completely ridiculous is that we have forgotten our purpose down here on earth.

“If thou goest down into Egypt,
And thence thou bring’st the one Pearl –

“[The Pearl] that lies in the Sea,
Hard by the loud-breathing Serpent –

“[Then] shalt Thou put on thy Robe
And thy Mantle that goeth upon it,

“And with thy Brother, Our Second,
Shalt thou be Heir in our Kingdom.”

The Hymn of the Pearl

Nag Hammadi Library

In Gnostic Texts, we have The Hymn of the Pearl where it describes the story of a “King’s Son” who is sent to Egypt to retrieve a pearl from a serpent.  Understanding that this is written in allegory means that this is a story to explain a higher concept.  The “King’s Son” is your consciousness being sent to Egypt (Earth), to acknowledge itself through raising the kundalini.  The Pearl “lies in the Sea” by the “sleeping, fire-breathing serpent,” this is all allegory to explain the Kundalini energy resting in your Sacral Waters.  By snatching the pearl(your soul) you awaken the Kundalini energy and this begins the process of Gnosis.

So we have raised our energy from the roots (Muladhara chakra) earth, up through the baptismal waters(Svadhisthana chakra) of the Sacral, to be purified by the fires(Manipura chakra) of the Solar Plexus.  The element associated with the Manipura Chakra is Fire.  Fire is associated with the will, an overactive Manipura chakra would look like aggressive, controlling, and manipulative behaviors.  A dormant Manipura Chakra would look like low self-esteem or passiveness.  Once we have raised our energy to the Manipura Chakra we have separated ourselves from our unconscious behaviors, and even if we haven’t all the way figured it out, at least we know we are in the process of figuring it out.  We can no longer accept the unconscious behavior as okay, yet we do not and try to fix what is wrong with us either.  Like the merchant, we sell everything we have for the acquisition of this pearl.

And [thereon] I snatched up the Pearl,
And turned to the House of my Father.

Their filthy and unclean garments
I stripped off and left in their country.

The Hymn of the Pearl

Nag Hammadi Library

Once you fully grasp this concept, you take off everything and leave it where it is at.  No need to reconcile anything, you are aligned with your purpose.

The Manipura Chakra is the source of our divine energy, it is the abundance and also the dwelling of our Soul Power.  So really dealing with this concept will cause an abstraction in your understanding of yourself.  Where you rather deal with the idea of yourself than the actual events of your life.  Separating your personal life from the realization of your soul.  Simply because you are not your soul alone.  Your soul seeks expression through you, rather than you trying to put your expression on the soul.

Activating the Solar Plexus Chakra is activating the fire within you,  the fire needed to get you out of your unconscious loop, the fire needed to awaken your will.  Fire is the heat of life.  When a person is dead, one of the first ways to find out is based on the temperature of the body.  Once that fire leaves, you are no longer living.  Fire energy as an unconscious impulse shows up as passions, wishes, and illusions.  People spend their whole lives trying to untangle the results of failed passions, empty wishes, and false illusions.  Trying to make the journey about physical attainment as a benchmark for success.  Chakra work is not based on how much money you make, what degrees you have, your status in society, or any other external measure.  Chakra Work wakes up the God inside of you, the soul, and it is much different from the person you thought you knew.  Realizing that the soul is not you, is a very difficult concept to grasp.  This means that you are no longer living through the Ego, and this is a difficult thing to accept.

The location of the Manipura Chakra is in the diaphragm and is accessed with the breath.  The Solar Plexus is an actual part of the body that controls the subconscious mind.  We discussed the concept of the Solar Plexus in the realm of subconscious programming earlier this year.
