What the Musk Deer teaches us about Shadow Work

Like the Musk Deer, most of us are unaware of our inner beauty. We book trips to foreign lands and travel worldwide, searching for what we are.

The Musk Deer are melanistic animals, producing excessive amounts of melanin. In addition, musk deers make a scent so intoxicating that humans have killed the musk deer to almost extinction, yet the deer does not know its value.

For human beings on this earth, we must find our value. We only see our actual value through inner work by taking a sobering and honest inventory. However, we cannot passively seek ourselves. We must passionately seek our SOUL like we seek the world.

The etymology of the word INSPIRATION translates to an IMMEDIATE INFLUENCE OF A DIVINE SOURCE. The mystery of all life is that the divine spirit of Source exists within us, but we must do SHADOW WORK to find it.

Our divine Source of all creative solutions for our life is within us. Our greatest accomplishment is when we find the beauty within ourselves. Yet, so many Americans travel the world seeking what is impossible to find.

Learn to value your insight, the unmistakable sight you have within yourself, the wisdom to know you are making the best decision. Learn to start your day off by being inspired, finding the spirit within, and being empowered by it daily.

The Musk Deer never finds what it is looking for because it has no idea that it produces what it desires. We often never value our inner journey and have yet to begin our spiritual journey because we are too busy living externally. When we do shadow work, we start doing the work of finding our inner beauty because we are the only ones that can do it.
